Athens is a city with many constructions remainings of different phases in history.
I picked this one, from the old gas factory of Athens, stopped working about 50-60 years ago.
This is one of the few places that have been well restored and being used in good manner.
The old ironing, on top of the old gas of fuel tank creates an industrial look of the past.
Picture was taken in July 2009 as part of my project of taking pictures of places around Athens (unfortunately not yet completed).
