This little church built to honor Agia Theodora (Sta Theodora), has something very special on it. Seventeen (yes 17) big trees have grown on the roof of this little church! The trees still grow naturally, they are a lot bigger that the church itself and, the most impressive, you don’t see the roots or any other part of the trees, either inside the church, or the outside!
Scientists have gathered many times in order to explain how this is happening, especially to see how the weight of the trees has not destroyed the small building, however until now no solid explanation has been given…
