Many kinds of pelicans exist aqround the world, however those silver pelicans photographed at Norhtern Greece are not only rare to see but also very pretty. The males during the matting period have a pink color over their bill, so that the females know.
Amazing birds that have a very charachteristic flying pattern, when they fly in formation, and many times just a few cm over the surface of the water.
